Initial Setup

To start using RuffRuff Selling Periods, complete the following 3 steps.

Enable the app embed in your theme to apply the app's features to your storefront.

1. Select a theme on the app's home screen

2. Click the "Access" button

3. Once the Shopify theme editor opens, enable the "RuffRuff Selling Periods" app

4. Click the "Save" button

A selling period rule is a template where you configure the start and end date/time of a selling period and the messages to display at each phase.

1. Open the "Selling period rules" page and click "Create rule"

2. Set the title, start date/time, and end date/time (if needed)

3. Configure messages for each phase (Before selling period, During selling period, After selling period)

4. Click Save

5. Click "Enable"

By linking a created rule to products, the configured selling period is reflected on your storefront.

1. Open the "Products" page

2. Select the product(s) you want to apply the rule to

3. Click "Apply rule" and select the rule to apply
