Steps to create, enable, disable, duplicate, and delete selling period rules. A disabled or deleted rule is no longer reflected on products it is applied to.
(1) Open selling period rules
From Shopify admin, go to Apps and open "RuffRuff Selling Periods." Select "Selling period rules" in the left menu.
(2) Open the rule editor
Select "Create rule" in the upper-right corner.
(3) Enter the details and save
Enter the title, selling period, and messages for each timing, then select "Save."
(4) Enable the rule
Select "Enable" and save. If the rule stays disabled, it is not reflected in the store even after you apply it to products.
(1) Open the rule
Open the target rule.
(2) Switch the status
Select "Enable" or "Disable" in the upper-right corner.
Note: If you disable a rule, message display and selling period limits stop on every product the rule is applied to.
Use this when you want a new rule based on an existing one.
(1) Open the rule
Open the rule to duplicate.
(2) Duplicate
From the upper-right menu, select "Duplicate." The duplicated title is "Copy of [name]." Change it if needed.
(1) Open the rule
Open the rule to delete.
(2) Delete
From the upper-right menu, select "Delete."
Note: Deleted rules cannot be restored. Check where the rule is applied before you delete it.
