A selling period rule is a template where you consolidate the settings for the start/end timing of a selling period and the messages to display at each phase. A single rule can be applied to multiple products.
Title: A name for administrative purposes. Not displayed to store customers.
Starts at: The date and time the selling period begins
Ends at: The date and time the selling period ends (leave unset to continue selling indefinitely)
Before selling period settings: Product message, alert message, countdown timer
During selling period settings: Product message, countdown timer
After selling period settings: Product message, alert message (only when an end date/time is set)
The Add to Cart button is automatically hidden. Purchases are also blocked at the cart and checkout pages, and an alert message is displayed.
Enabled: The rule operates as configured
Disabled: The rule is paused
The start and end date/time of a selling period use the timezone set in your store (Settings > General > Timezone). For example, if your store is set to Japan Standard Time (GMT+09:00), the times configured in rules are treated as Japan Standard Time.
The start and end date/time can only be set in minute increments. Seconds are always "00."

Note: When set to "2027-12-31 23:59," the entire minute of 23:59 falls outside the selling period. If you want to continue selling through the last day of the month, set the end date/time to the next day: "2028-01-01 00:00."
