Outside the selling period (before it starts or after it ends), you can choose whether the Add to Cart button is hidden (default) or disabled.
Open “Settings” from the left-side menu of the app.
In the “Cart button” section, choose “Hide” or “Disable” for “Cart button state outside the selling period.”
Save your changes.
Hide (default): The Add to Cart button is not displayed.
Disable: The button stays visible, grayed out, and can't be clicked.
Dynamic checkout buttons (such as “Buy it now”) are always hidden outside the selling period, regardless of this setting.
If you also use apps that duplicate or customize the Add to Cart button — such as product options apps or pre-order apps — “Disable” may not apply to the button rendered by those apps, and purchases may not be blocked as intended, or the two apps' behavior may conflict.
Unless you have a specific reason to keep the button visible, we recommend using the default “Hide” option.
