If you add the Selling period rules block to the Shopify product admin, you can check, apply, change, and remove rules for that product or variant without opening the app.
You can add a dedicated block on the product details page and on the variant details page.
Block on the product details page: It summarizes rules applied per variant. You can see how many rules are applied, how many are enabled or disabled, and how many are unset. Select a rule name to see the variants it is applied to.
Block on the variant details page: You can check, apply, change, and remove the rule on that one variant.
Add the block to the product page as follows.
(1) Open product admin
In Shopify admin, open a product details page or a variant details page.
(2) Add a block
Select "Add block" at the bottom or lower right of the page.
(3) Choose Selling period rules
Select "Selling period rules" from the list.
(4) Pin it if needed
If you pin the block, it is shown automatically on later product pages as well.
Prerequisite: If a staff member without product edit permission opens the block, a message about missing permission is shown instead of the rule details.
The steps differ for a product with multiple variants and for a product with one variant.
(1) Open Manage by variant
Select "Manage by variant" on the block.
(2) Open the rule field
On the row for the variant to change, select "Rule."
(3) Choose a rule
From the menu, select the rule to apply. If another rule is already applied, choosing a new one replaces it.
(4) Remove it if needed
To remove the rule, select "Remove rule" at the top of the menu.
(1) Select the edit icon
Select the icon on the right of the row in the block. It is + when unset, and a pencil when a rule is set.
(2) Choose a rule
From the menu, select the rule to apply. If another rule is already applied, choosing a new one changes it.
(3) Remove it if needed
To remove it, select "Remove rule" at the top of the menu.
If no selling period rule exists yet, go to the app from "Create a rule in the app" in the block.
To work with many variants at once, select "Bulk edit in the app" on the block.
The app product list opens filtered to this product only.
